KRCC’s “Railroad West” series garnered top honors for Best News Report, Feature or Series in major markets from the Colorado Broadcasters Association. This series focused on Colorado’s possible loss of Amtrak’s Southwest Chief route and included work by multiple reporters overseen by KRCC news director Andrea Chalfin.
