The ‘Queen Of Denver’ Was A Modernist For Her Time, Intent On Making The City Relevant

Thornton author Shelby Carr’s new book is “The Queen of Denver: Louise Sneed Hill and the Emergence of Modern High Society.” Carr says Hill helped put Denver on the social and cultural map at the turn of the last century. She also inspired people and sometimes shocked them into trying new things.
